We visited for a Mother’s Day celebration and absolutely loved the warm, home-made touches throughout – from the gorgeous vintage china and rabbit-themed décor to the peaceful garden setting beneath the huge tree overlooking the vineyards. The High Tea features a delicious selection of petit sweet and savoury bites, all baked in small batches in the little farmhouse kitchen using traditional recipes made with love.

Highlights included the delicate tea finger sandwiches, beetroot and feta warm tart, pumpkin and feta savoury scone, berry crumble tart, rich chocolate brownie and the lightest freshly baked traditional scone served warm with homemade mixed berry jam and double cream. Tea lovers will also adore the extensive loose-leaf tea menu, featuring everything from classic English Breakfast and French Earl Grey to floral blends and signature creations. Our favourite was the Strawberries & Cream Black Tea, which had a beautifully smooth and luxurious creamy finish.

With its relaxing English and French-inspired farmhouse atmosphere, freshly baked treats and thoughtful presentation, Mrs Rabbit Tea Rooms is a truly special spot for a leisurely High Tea experience in the Swan Valley. High Tea is available Wednesday to Saturday, with pre-reservation and pre-payment essential at least 48 hours in advance.
